Cookout

Last weekend, we invited a few friends over for a cookout.  We grilled top sirloin shish kabobs with tomatoes, green peppers, and onions.  We also had corn on the cob and grilled veggies (yellow squash, red potatoes, and carrots).  And cookies for dessert.

While eating, we all had a lengthy debate as to which elementary school in Boonville is the best.  I was completely outnumbered since I was the only person out of five that had went to Oakdale (the best!).  Three of the others had gone to Loge (the enemy!) and one person had gone to Chandler.

We each took turns saying the names of people from either school that would either boost the appeal or tear it down.  Oakdale had a lot more on the "tear it down" side than on the good side.  However, there were three of them to come with names and I am only one person, I can't think of everything.

What's really funny is, two of the three people pushing for Loge to be declared the best school live on the side of town where children go to Oakdale.  HAHA!  So when they have children, unless they move before then which I don't see happening, their children will go to Oakdale!!!!!

We all had a good time and I can't wait to do it again!
